Always great donuts, properly made the old way. The staff is very friendly and honest. My go to place for the best fritters and donuts. The only place I can find that properly makes French cruellers.

  • *****

This is the most amazing donuts and fritters ever! They are generous with their portions not to mention the taste is wonderful. The young lady behind the counter was helpful when I wasn’t sure what I would want, plus they gave me a few samples to take with me. You will do yourself a favor when you stop here! Not your hips, but they are worth every bite!! Nice job keep up the great flavor and freshness!!

  • *****

WOW !WOW ! WOW! fantastic donuts, crispy apple fritters, chocolate glaze, moist on the inside, just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Really good prices. I would eat them everyday if I lived closer ! :)

A couple months ago the kiddo wanted donuts. This is the closest place to Forest Grove to get decent donuts so we hopped in the car and started driving. When we hit rush hour traffic on TV Highway I thought I should look at the time, It was like 10 minuets before closing and there was no way I was going to make it. I decided to call to make sure the closing time on Yelp was correct and the wonderful woman who answered the phone asked me how long it would take for us to get there and said she would wait. So we rushed in and got our donuts and much more. She loaded us up with donut holes and another donut they had just started making. It was wonderful service and the best donuts in the Portland area.
Now, let's talk about some vegan treats and we'll be making the drive regularly.

I've updated my rating to a 5 star because they've moved their location. My favorite is the Boston Creme. I can't understand why Voodoo and Blue Star even have customers when this place is open. Best fresh donuts in all of Oregon, and that includes Joe's in Sandy.

  • *****

They're most proud of their fritters and the Boston creme donuts.

I can attest to the excellence of their coffee drinks, brewed so they don't get bitter as they cool while sipping. A very satisfying stop indeed.

Amal, the staffer on duty when I stopped by, was delightfully gracious and -- if truth be told -- added significantly to the visit. Thank you.

We live about a mile from here and try to go often. The donuts are delicious and better than the usual Portland spots. But what make this place special is the service.

For my son's birthday we went away from the normal cake and my wife ordered donuts that the kids could take home in their own boxes. She special ordered their Devils Food donuts and had them add coloring to the frosting that went with the colors of his party.

I picked them up and brought them home and it turned out they missed the special coloring my wife had asked for. So she called and let them know. Not only did they replace the donuts, they delivered the donuts to our house a half hour later. Let us keep all the donuts and even sent her a special "we're sorry" donut.

Top notch service from a terrific place. Thanks guys!

I love the donuts and the people here. The same great place as before. The new location still needed a bit of work when I was there (2/27/2018), but don't let that detour you from experiencing the amazing food, coffee, and the sweet lady behind the counter. Everything I have tried has been sooo good. Such a large selection, too!

  • *****

The best, Cary always brings them to our safety committee meeting

  • *****

This the best place for donuts in Oregon. Family owned amd super friendly. My daughter and I have been going here ever since we moved to Hillsboro.
The donuts are soft and feel like they're made to order. Our faves are boston pie, tiger bar and pink vanilla.

  • *****

These are the best scratch donuts on the planet. Sooooo good. The bear claws are to die for. Whoever wrote that the service is a bit cold doesn't have a clue. These are people
struggled in their homeland and came here for a better life. The older woman is so sweet and always remembers me. I believe she is of a Russian decent. They are hard working good people. Voodoo donuts doesn't hold a candle!

  • *****

Had a great variety of donuts. Some standard and some special flavors. Be aware line was out the door by 830am. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique donut shop. There is also in store seating for those who enjoy eating fresh donuts. Those are my favorite. ????

  • *****

Good local donut joint, better than Blue Star in my opinion. I've had better donuts in other parts of the country but these would have to be up there on my top 5 list.

  • *****

This place has great donuts. I think I've had 5-6 different donuts and a couple different fritters here and they were all great. Really friendly service. I'm so glad this place is close to my house.
Might be easy to miss from the road, but they're right on TV Hwy next to Burger King in Beaverton.

  • *****

First of all I LOOOVE donuts, in fact I guess you could say I am a bit of a critic (I used to help my dad make donuts years ago for our small business). I have tried donuts from all the popular to non-popular places and you guys make THE BEST glazed donut ever!!! I just melts in my mouth! I like all your donuts but when it comes to the basic glazed donut your's by far are the best!!!!

  • *****

The best donuts I've ever had.
The best you will ever have.
    Dank as hell!!!!
best donut shop in the world. PINEAPPLE FRITTER...enough said.
They are nice enough to crank out some fritters and donut holes an hour early. So amazing

  • *****

The best donuts in the area. Better than any chain donut. In my opinion even blue star because you can eat one of these donuts every day. Dough is always very airy. Toppings just right. Love this place. Half dozen for $7. Can’t go wrong.

  • *****

Best donuts ever! I adore that they are a local and consistent place in our community. I've been coming to this shop on and off for 11 years now and their donuts are still my favorite. The owner seems to be committed to maintaining their family owned and top level reputation. Friendly service and great prices. Their Donuts don't leave me feeling icky like voodoo and some other shops- and they have great flavor options! Tried the coconut one recently- and I highly recommend it! Maple bars are also incredible.

  • *****

Best Donuts ever. I fly into Portland for business every month and I stop in every time to get a fritter or a donut. They have great tasting donuts, friendly service, and good price. I really like the variety of fritters from pineapple to raspberry. Can't wait for my next Portland trip so I can stop by.

  • *****

Love this shop -- never disappoints.. Delicious -- the fritters are amazing -- Blueberry - Apple YUMMY! I love that they have frosting filled donuts too --Plus the tiger bars that are half maple half chocolate.
I bought a large coffee and a dozen donuts for work and they gave me a heated up Blueberry Fritter for free -- -THANK YOU!!

  • *****

Best Donuts! What can I say that hasn't been said? Family owned, handmade, fresh icing not that hard crumbly stuff. Might be a little hard to find off T.V Hwy, its the driveway by Burger King, and that's easier to see from the road.

Apple Fritters are dark and lovely. Sweet, yet a simple dough that melts in your mouth with the perfect amount of sweetened thinned icing. Coffee is always fresh and HOT! Hey, guyz. Be careful, cause these to-go cups are paper and can slip easily from the hands or after it sits a while.

Brought in 3 dozen for the new work training crew to try before heading back out of state and they LOVED them! Thanks, Donut Day! :)

  • *****

Decided to try this donut shop for the 1st time today. So glad we did! The cake donuts are like cake-so moist and melts in your mouth. My new favorite donut place!

  • *****

Wow, don't let the outside fool you. This is a no frills type of place but these are seriously good donuts! Very fresh, lots of filling. YUM!! Bavarian filled is the best. I like them better than Blue Star, Voodoo, Sesame, or Krispy Kreme. New fav!! Prices are good too.

  • *****

Their donuts are always fresh and well made. They have a large variety. Today we got apple cider glazed cake donut, thick vanilla frosted with sprinkles, vanilla cake, cinnamon twist, and a chocolate bar. Will picked out glazed sprinkle donut holes. Service is always prompt unless they are refilling the shelves but I don’t mind. It means more to choose from! The only issue I have had is that they seemed inexperienced in making alternative milk fancy coffees. He had to make sure they even had soy milk. I would stick to the donuts and plain coffee.

  • *****

Probably my favorite donut shop in the area. It's not fancy, like Blue Star, but Donut Day always has a great selection of more traditional donuts. The buttermilk bars, fritters, coconut creams, and maple bars are our favorites. You just can't go wrong with Donut Day for quality and value.

  • *****

I've been buying donuts from this shop for years, since they were located next to the pawn shop. In general, I like their donuts - lots of flavors and varieties to choose from.

Since moving to their new location, I can tell that the oil is cleaner. Back at the original location, donuts had a tendency to taste old-oily.

I like that they are not stingy with the fillings of the "filled" donuts. I've always had donuts filled to the brim, which is nice compared to other shops that never put enough.

Oh and, I like that they always give my daughter a free donut hole every time we make an order.

This place is a neighborhood donut shop, free from fancy advertising or ordering via app - just making tasty donuts, that's all.

    Support local small businesses!!

  • *****

Whoop! I was finally able to find a time to hit up Donut Day during their business hours.
Their hours are not the best and it can be hard to catch them during opening hours if you work a normal day job, however their donuts are amazing!
The location was a little hard to find and the address in Google maps was not accurate. Their new location is a little further up the road between Burger King and Verizon.
Okay so I gotta admit, the building itself is super run down and probably won't make you want o screech your tires to whip into their lot but like I said the donuts, prices and options do not disappoint.
We paid $11 for a dozen donuts which was a good price IMO. At around 9.30a on a Sunday they still had a ton of options available and seemed to be frying more in the back.
Taste wise their donuts hit the spot! I had a "blueberry cobbler" and some sort of chocolate crunch donut. Both were ahhh-mazing! The filling in their blueberry cobbler donut didn't taste chemical at all which often happens when ordering jelly filled donuts in most donut shops.
The owner and his wife seemed very friendly as well.
The only bummer was that their espresso machine was broken but they did not advertise that anywhere on their menu board.
Other than had, this place is legit and much better than Sesame's.

  • *****

This little spot may not look like much, but their donuts are fantastic! We have a birthday tradition starring their donut holes (buttermilk is my personal fav) and fritters. Omg so good.

  • *****

Absolutely the best doughnuts I have ever had. 11 years as a contractor...trust me I have eating my fair share of doughnuts and these fritters and cake doughnuts are amazing. The doughnut holes are dangerously addicting as well.

  • *****

Wonderful donuts and lovely service. A good spot for all ages

  • *****

Their Maple Bars are to die for. What a great place. I've never had such tasty yummy Doughnuts.
Owner and his wife are so friendly and welcoming.
Best in this area!!!! Enjoy. Sue

Best donuts in the Portland area

The outside is still undergoing slow renovations, but don't let the humble storefront fool you - these are the best donuts in town.

The dough is perfectly yeasty, more than most places - it offsets the super sweetness of the various icing and fillings. The fritters are intensely fruity, and come in many flavors, more on the weekend - raspberry, blueberry, lemon, Poppy, and seasonal ones. The old fashioned have insanely thick icing, but again, the dough is just right to offset it and make it balanced and delicious.

They have coffee as well, which is good - but the donuts are the star of the show.

Family owned and operated, with one man making donuts every day, these are my favorite donuts in Portland.

  • *****

Fresh & delicious donuts and friendly service - wish we lived closer to visit more often, but we always stop by whenever we’re in town.

  • *****

A hidden gem. Great service, better donuts.

On my last trip here, I came in as another customer ordered their last buttermilk bars (best donut you will ever have, you must try it). The employee threw in a bunch of free donut holes with my order to make up for it!

I can't stress the quality enough; their donuts are the best I have had, and I've been to most places throughout the portland area.

  • *****

Their donuts are much better in taste and freashness than anyone else. Good prices and very nice people. Nice selection to choose from. You can sit down there to enjoy your donut or take them with you. They did move down by Burger King on TV Highway.

  • *****

Forget VooDoo, Blue Star or any other "Portland" donut shop. This place has the best, fresh donuts in the Portland Metro area. The owners are super kind always willing to chat. They will always offer to get the freshest, newest donuts. Whenever I've picked up donuts for a meeting folks always comment on how those were the "best donuts". Try these guys out. You'll be happy you did.

  • *****

The best donuts on the planet! These are really great. I've never been a fan of KK's, far too sweet and no taste. These donuts are to die for. I really love the lemon filled donuts. The family loves the glazed donuts and the donut-holes are great for the kids,(or driving) and a way to try the different varieties. The apple fritter is full of apple pieces and are a meal due to there size. The blueberry cake donuts melts in your mouth. There are so many varieties. There new location on TV Hwy, next door to Burger King, now has ample parking. The store is family ran, and by some of the nicest people. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won't regret it! They have Yeast donuts, cake donuts, maple bars, filled donuts, fritters, bear claws, cinnamon rolls, and also a variety of coffees. We've been going here for over 10 years.

  • *****

I got 6 fancy donuts and a banana fritter. All were delicious. The banana fritter had real banana pieces inside. Not terribly sweet. I loved it.

  • *****

Always the best donuts. Huge selection and great prices. The people are always so kind here.

  • *****

Oh my God there is not enough words to describe just how incredibly awesome these Donuts are. We got a box of donuts last week, I believe it was on Sunday, and I have craved at least five of them a day since. I swear you would think I was pregnant how much I crave these things. I am 32 years old and they are by far the best absolute most amazing donuts I've ever had in my life. Not one single one was bad and the Snickers Donut, oh don't get me started it was absolutely fantastic. The blueberry donut, the cake one melt-in-your-mouth, and their donut holes were to die for. You are the biggest fool if you do not come here at least once a week. Find a way to afford it people

  • *****

Whoa! The Apple fritter is amazing. Chocolate crunch?? I didn't know a chocolate donut could taste that good. The tiger bars looked good, but my son declared they are his personal property.

This is certainly a step above other donuts in the area. One bite and you will wonder why you did not come here earlier.

The owners are nice and have great passion for the quality of their product.

Come on in and ask the guy at the counter what he recommends. Sit down, take a slow bite, and enjoy what you have been missing.

  • *****

I was hesitant at first but they sure know how to make donuts. Don't go here for ambiance, service or the cleanliness. If you're not germaphobic, go here! Plus, a dozen assortment for 14 bucks isn't bad at all.

  • *****

This place is amazing. The donuts are so good. The outside looks shady but the people in there are very nice. I love this place so go there if you're having a bad day or if you're looking for a new taste. It's cool but get there early.

  • *****

They moved to a new location, probably a mile from old location. Good, yummy donuts. They unique flavors and a soft & fluffy. I also like that it is local and family owned, you'll see the it's mostly family members that works in the shop. New place looks pretty run down, not the best ambiance but you don't really hang out there. You just eat and run and be merry 'coz your belly is filled & happy. I definitely am coming back to this place. It's worth going to and trying.

  • *****

Doughnuts a very tasty, much better than crispy creamed. The people that work there are also very nice, can't wait to go back for a work event.

  • *****

Best donuts in Portland! Yes they are better than Voodoo, Five Star, Sesame, & Krispy Kreme. The maple frosting is really good and actually tastes like maple versus just sweet. The cake donuts are really good, I love the nutty chocolate (chocolate cake donut, glazed and covered in peanuts). They have donut varieties for both the purists and people who like "over the top" flavors.

  • *****

Make sure you go to their new location on TV hwy. My nephew accidentally went to the Tigard location and the donuts are just as good over there!

It's a Great Day for Donut Day
When I was a kid I used to walk down to a local Dunkin Donuts or a Winchells. Where else you could buy near heaven for under a buck? Nowadays it's really hard to find donut stores. Bagel and coffee shops have pretty much become the norm. Enter Donut Day. This place is tucked away in a sleepy little min-mall in Beaverton, off of TV Highway. Most every time I have gone there I have had to park in the alley behind the store to even get in. But boy is it worth it. The donuts are made fresh daily and the coffee is to die for. There are so many varieties I have a very hard time choosing. These aren't the types of donuts you find at Krispy Kreme...but aren't there enough of them. These donuts are made with loving care, not mass produced. If you have a hard time with decisions, like I do, you can even buy a bag of old fashioned donut holes in a variety so that you can sample each one. The place isn't huge on atmosphere, but who needs it when the donuts taste like this. I love this place. If it wasn't on my way to the gym, I'd probably eat there much more often.

  • *****

Only ifn u like them warm!
    By Far the best around!

  • *****

These donuts (doughnuts) are excellent. The oil is not bad, like in some places that don't change it often enough. There is NO ACRID OIL SMELL in the entire place. It smells like heaven inside, and it is clean clean clean - Faad is a wonderful host and is very proud of his donuts, for good reason. The crullers are superb - airy, light, eggy and perfectly cooked. NOT GREASY - just perfectly airy and slightly crisp with a good bit of frost on the outside. The bear claw was chock full of good chunky apples, not too sweet, and the donut was puffy and light but had a good amount of sugar crust. The only reason I give the place 4 instead of 5 stars is the apple fritter - it was cooked too long and tasted bitter, as though burned. I think it was a fluke and i will test again as soon as we get through 18 donuts (well, 6 are already gone). Highly recommend, BETTER THAN KRISPY KREME in my humble opinion, our usual standby.

  • *****

I had to go in just to check it out myself. I ordered a Bear Claw and an Apple Fritter. Both were quite good. Both were immense in size and flavor. They both were missing that nasty, greasy taste that you sometimes get after munching on fried dough. Both were very true to their desired textures, appearance, deliciousness.

  • *****

donut day is, quite simply, the best donut shop i have ever been to. even the donuts i don't really like are good here. visit them. you won't be sorry. i love you donut day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the people that work here are nice, pleasant, and professional.

  • *****

I tried three donuts: the raspberry cream, buttermilk and blueberry old fashioned. They were yummy, homemade donuts that came at a reasonable price. Give it a try!

  • *****

A guy I work with brought some of these to work to share. I don't think I like this guy anymore. I'm gonna get fat. These are by far the best donuts I've ever had in my life. I had one that was like a powdered sugar donut but with a darker powder and one that had chocolate mouse in it. These are just indescribably delicious.

  • *****

Awesome donuts, loved the vanilla cream filled.

  • *****

Don't bother reading the reviews, just eat some donuts already. If you're in the area this is going to be your best option and you're in luck, the donuts are gooood! The "Tiger" bars that are half maple and chocolate frosting atop some of the fluffiest dough I've ever had in a donut. My wife got a creme filled fresh out of the oven chocolate thing and I couldn't talk to her until she was finished ooohing and awwwwing with the thing. Four stars because of the minimalist presentation, it's not the cleanest place, and the coffee is so-so. The donuts though, go-go.

  • *****

My family has been going to Donut Day for years after stumbling upon it in search of a good donut place and we have not been disappointed. We often have family gatherings and a popular request is a dozen or 2 dozen of these delicious donuts. Favorites are the double chocolate, tiger bars and the cinnamon twists. The owner is a super nice guy, definitely the place to go if your looking for some great donuts!

  • *****

I've given this doughnut shop a couple of shots. It's pretty consistent on the quality of doughnuts. Great selection of doughnuts that are freshly made there. I'd put it as my number 2 doughnut place in the area. It is much better than Voodoo Doughnuts by miles. Of course it isn't as funky as Voodoo nor have the attitude, but the doughnuts are better, which is what a person is after. Of course it doesn't have the specialty doughnuts as Voodoo but for traditional doughnuts this place is better. Don't simply trust the reviews go and try it yourself, you won't be disappointed.

  • *****

I was up in Oregon visiting and stopped by with my sister. This is - by far - the best donut store in the world! My personal favorite was the apple filled crumb donut, but there were so many other great donuts and great friendly service! If they're out of your favorite, they'll stop and make one for you.

  • *****

No other Donut shop compares to this place. I've brought Donuts to work meetings, parties, and service projects and everyone always asks "where did you get these Donuts?"

The location is its biggest downfall but the Donuts are the best period. If you like quality baked goods then I strongly suggest this location. You will be thrilled.

  • *****

Donut day has the best American donuts! (I make that distinction because even though andagi and malasadas are in a whole different class, I don't want there to be any confusion.)

I really miss going there on a regular basis. When my husband and I were walking regularly (We were training for a marathon that we never entered.) we would often stop by at the end of our work out (Maybe that's why we never made it through marathon training!) to get a nice treat.

The donuts here are always fresh, never oily, with just the right amount of sugar/glaze/frosting. The toppings never overpower the delightful cake or yeast donuts themselves.

The service is always above average. They always have a friendly, welcoming greeting and are so patient while my indecisiveness causes a long delay in ordering. (If you're behind me, I promise to step aside and let you go first.)

Donut Day is a truly charming neighborhood shop (that I must visit on my way home tonight) that crafts non-mass-produced yummy donuts that should be celebrated!

  • *****

awesome, awesome, awesome - great donuts, incredible selection and very nice service.

  • *****

1st time here in awhile and the donuts were really good. I am not a fan of Krispy Kreme and my wife spoils me when we are down in the LA and we get Prontos Donuts which to me are #1. So when I can't have Prontos, my next spot will always be Donut Day.

  • *****

This is the best donut in Portland - there, I said it! Get there early for the freshest donuts, they start cooking before dawn. The plain cake is my fave, crispy outside, dense yet fluffy and moist inside. Nice earthy, malty taste. With hot cocoa these are amazing. The chocolate frosting is very dark an rich, best on the frosted ring and double chocolate. The fritters are the size of your head, and you'll hog every crumb. Go soon, your soul will thank you!

  • *****

By far the best donuts I've had in years! Well worth going out of the way for. Creative selection plus all the old favorites. The fritters are the best...try the raspberry...YUM! They also have very good espresso. The staff is friendly and efficient.

  • *****

I really wanted a maple old fashioned and they were out. The kind lady said she would normally just take a plain old fashioned and hand dip it in maple but they only had glazed old fashioned left. She offered to dip a glazed in maple and without hesitation I accepted her challenge. Twice. It was sweetness overload, but my, oh, my it was worth it.

These are really nice people that make excellent, fresh, and super sweet doughnuts. Definitely at the top of my Doughnut Quest list.

  • *****

Great donuts. I have had 7 different kinds over the last month (this has become a regular weekly stop) and loved all of them. Luckily the donuts are so good, as the staff have no customer service skills. I always feel like they are put out to have to help me. Since this is not a 'sit-and-eat' kind of place, this isn't super important, but the staff could make the place a real top location of they got their act together.

  • *****

Well kept shop. Staff was very friendly and gave my son donut holes on the house. Tips on warming the donuts were given. Donuts are great and the feeling of this business is too. I will be back for sure!

  • *****

I didn't fall in love with the doughnuts on the first round. I brought some into the office and everyone enjoyed them. I had better ones in the past. I did give them another try since they are the closest doughnut place to me. Not bad. I think it was on the third try that I decided that these are pretty good doughnuts. Good thing I was willing to give them a second and third chance....ok it wasn't that hard to do...
Their doughnuts are fresh and aren't heavy and greasy feeling. I will be back.

  • *****

Oh my gosh, these are the best donuts in town.

High-end ingredients and quality preparation set these apart from any other in town. Delicious!

  • *****

This is by far a the best kept secret around beaverton ..i love this place..Fresh and delicious donuts at a great price..this has become my go to donut place!!

  • *****

My husband goes here every Wednesday to get donuts for his office. Not only does he really like the donuts but he can't say enough about the owner and how dedicated he is to be there at 2 am so we can have these yummy treats on our way to work. Definitely great tasting and worth the patronage.

  • *****

I don't like cake donuts, but I love the glazed chocolate cake donut from Donut Day. I can't explain it!

They've got a lot of your basic favorites that all taste delicious; I need to try some of their specials!

Great service from super friendly people. I'm going to get so fat...

  • *****

Great fresh donuts, friendly people, what's not to love? If only donuts were an advisable diet, this would be more than the very rare treat that it is. Love this place.

  • *****

Of all the doughnut's I've tried , even big name's , I have got to rate Doughnut Day the best ! With all your favorite,s .The store is tucked away not to flashy ,the girl's in the are just as sweet as their Doughnut's .The fritter's are the top rated i would suggest the French curl ,melt in your mouth Yummy!

  • *****

A friend recently told me about this place, and I had to try it. I'm a sucker for a good donut, heck, it can be from the grocery store for all I care. I normally get a half dozen, since my boyfriend and I can't eat just one at a time. Every single donut I've had from them is delicious. The prices are great and the people are friendly. The only problem I can see is I usually get there right after work(graveyard, so its right when they open at 6) and they aren't done making all the donuts yet so some may take a couple extra minutes if you're eager for a certain kind. I normally just pick from what they have and haven't been disappointed. I'll be coming back here at least once a week.

  • *****

I have never liked a donut as much as the donuts from Donut Day. The owner is really cool and always very nice. One day I was in getting an apple fritter (the best apple fritters in town) and he said, "Just one minute" and went in the back and brought me a hot fresh mini apple fritter that he was making for a church for the next day. He just gave it to me. If you've never had a hot apple fritter, you are really missing out.

But, that's not even the best part about this place. All of the donuts are great! I'm not sure what he does, but they're always crisp on the outside and moist and delicious on the inside. There's a wide variety, including some over large specialty donuts like the "volcano".

Donut Day definitely outshines Krispy Kreme, Voodoo Donuts and Sesame Donuts. I know it's a trek for PDXers (T.V. highway just east of SW 185th), but one you should definitely make.

  • *****

This place is amazing!! I came in this morning to get 3 dozen donuts, and when the owner realized I was on my bicycle, he offered to drive them to my work! I went to the wrong entrance, but he still managed to find me, 3 boxes in hand. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced from any store. Beyond that, the donuts were delicious! Definitely helped me score some extra points with my new coworkers. I will be sure to come back. You guys are fantastic!

  • *****

Blue berry old fashion. Crazy good

  • *****

If you like a good donut then you need to support this place. They show every sign of a donut shop that cares. The staff is serious, the donuts are fresh, their restaurant is clean and interestingly decorated.

All of the standards are here: the blueberry fritter, the roasted coconut and other important flavors. My favorite is actually the vanilla-frosting stuffed ones.

Don't believe the hype of Voodoo donuts, this little shop has the chops to set the tone of donuts in Oregon.

Donut Day rocks!! In the 8 years I've been coming here, I've never had a bad donut or a bad experience. The owners are real nice and they make the most delicious donuts. You can't go wrong here, but my personal favorites are the Bavarian Creme and the buttermilk bar. My kids love the sprinkle, raspberry filled, and the donut holes. The chocolate cake donut hole is the favorite of my coworkers. Give this place a try if you haven't - you will not be disappointed!

    Better then average donuts
    ......good selection

These are some great donuts. The place is kind of sad and has really corny paintings on the wall. It's not great for atmosphere, but the doughnuts are really fresh and that's what matters.

I am an east coast girl. And we east coast girls (and guys) know there is no better donut shop than Dunkin Donuts. Period. But sadly, Oregon has ignored this franchise while catering to the ever so greasy Crispy Creme. But there is a silver lining! It's Donut Day!!! Woohoo! Every day should be a donut day when they are this good! Forget Voodoo! These donuts may not be shaped into nasty human body parts, and frankly they don't need to be. When donuts taste this good you don't need gimmicky names and shapes to get people to buy them. Best donuts in the Portland metro area! We will gladly drive out of our way to eat these sinful treats! They just need to get a web site! Every good business these days needs one.

Chelsea, Genna, and Carly are spot on with their revues I think. I have been searching for a while for donuts near enough to work for when it is "my turn" to grace the office with fine confectionary - and sorry but Krispy Kreme and the like leave me wanting. Plus, just try to find the godfather of all donuts; the buttermilk bar, in there! Go on. I will wait. In case it's not obvious buttermilk bars are my favorite, followed almost immeasurably close by the godmother of donuts, yes, the maple bar. But wait! Chocolate bar you say? Neigh, the best of all chimeric creations, let them introduce you to the zebra bar! Omg good. These folks have hit the perfect balance of donut and frosting. The buttermilk bar is not too dense, but not too airy either. The maple and chocolate glaze on the bars is perfect. And the old fashioned are the bomb. Perfect amount of snap as you break through the glaze followed by melt in your mouth goodness. This might be deemed heresy - and don't get me wrong, I like them too, but these are not your giant size voodoo dough bombs. They are just damn good donuts, period.

  • *****

I had been craving a really good apple fritter and remembered hearing about this place. Since I was nearby today, I stopped in. No more craving! Now I know that when I want a great fritter, I need to go to Donut Day! Perfect balance of crispy exterior and moist interior. Covered in just the right amount of glaze and doesn't leave a greasy coating in your mouth. Delicious!

  • *****

I'm not a huge donut fan, but Donut Day donuts are amazing. They are the new high mark to beat. You can't just have one. Their fritters are the best I have ever had. Can't wait to go back and get some more.

  • *****

I didn't know doughnuts could taste this good. What else can I say? Great variety, friendly people, but the doughnuts.........the doughnuts are fantastic.

  • *****

Best doughnuts around. Fresh, large, and always a great selection. Any of the fritters or seasonal choices are a great choice

  • *****

These are the best doughnuts in the Beaverton area. Their regular doughnuts are top notch and their specials, while pricier, are worth it for the inventiveness and taste. Very friendly staff and there's always parking, even though the lot is a little cramped.

  • *****

Love their donuts. We always get the original twist and it's delicious. Made fresh at the store. The people that work there are very friendly. Definitely a loyal customer.

  • *****

Although Donut Day is far from the city, it is well worth a lazy sunday's trip. There is no donut in Portland thus far that compares to the buttermilk bar at Donut Day. It is the perfect buttery, sugary, cakey, combination that tastes very, very fresh. Sure you can get donuts at Sesame Donuts, or Voodoo, but they will always be subpar compared to Donut Day. If you are not a buttermilk bar fan, go with the blueberry old fashioned, it will come in at a close second and will remain far above most others in PDX. This is a classic, well done donut shop with great variety. You can't go wrong.

  • *****

Clean, friendly, 5 different samples out! The usual donuts but done well with quality ingredients, plus some unusual donuts like lemon old fashioned bars, pia colada (pineapple filling with coconut cream frosting), and blueberry old fashioned. A must try place!!!!!

  • *****

Their doughnuts are pretty good. Location isn't a pain to get to as long as you take the side street there instead of trying to turn on the highway. The people there are very friendly their doughnuts depending on what you order aren't too sweet or overly greasy. So far I've tried:

Raspberry Fritter: Very delicious, normally I imagine a fritter to be a greasy, sugary mess. Their fritter is crispy, not too sweet and not drowned in a thick layer of icing. You can tell they use fresh fruit in it. I recommend trying this one

Banana cream doughnut: No, filling was too sweet

Place is very clean and has seating inside. I look forward to trying more.

  • *****

Decided to pick up some donuts for my boyfriend's birthday this week and we have driven past this place many times so I thought it would be cool to try. The store is very open and has some tables inside. The man and woman working were both very nice. There are a lot of options of different flavors of donuts, which is very cool because there is so much to try. I got 2 glazed donuts, 1 chocolate glazed, 1 boston creme, 1 strawberry jelly, and 1 apple crumb. Every single one was completely delicious, nothing at all to complain about. I will definitely go back here.

  • *****

I am terrible at reviewing donut places. Its like....all donuts are good, right?

I like the people in this establishment, and I like the donuts. Furthermore my husband says they are the best in the area.

The atmosphere and people who are run it are what I want in a donut place. A mom and pop type place!

This is *Not* a chain store, this is not an over the top place that leave you with a sugar high. (I do not care for Krispy Kreme, if that helps.)

  • *****

This place is the bomb! My husband and I saw the name and laughed a little at it but a few days later he surprised me with donuts from here and we are in love!
First of all let me say that whoever created the tiger bar is my favorite person ever. I am not sure if it is an original here or what but I have never seen it before coming here and I get it every single time we come! I always have a hard time choosing chocolate ring or maple bar and now I can have a tiger bar and fulfill both cravings! I have had the chocolate ring and the maple bar alone as well and they are great but c'mon the tiger bar is where it is at.
I am all about chocolate and maple donuts, as you can probably tell, but my husband likes all different kinds so he has tried many of the fritters and special donuts and he has enjoyed every one of them. I am not that adventurous but if fruit donuts are your thing, come here!
Seriously try their donuts no matter what your taste, the dough is fried to perfection and has a nice crisp crust and inside is soft and flaky every single time. We love this place and can't wait to keep coming here for years to come!

  • *****

    They repainted!

I LOVE that the family-run business is always trying new flavors and donuts!

They are clean and professional, and

    YUMMY!

  • *****

Donut Day is great! I may have to write a secondary review when I go back but all I can say is that the donut flavors are plentiful, they are fresh, and they taste extra delicious!

I came here almost upon closing hours. My thought? Come here in the morning obviously to get hot, fresh, donuts where the options are prevelent. I can tell they do not cook anything past a certain hour. Which is good. There were only a few options left for me to choose from. I chose glazed donut holes with sprinkles. The lady gave me 12 for a dollar instead of the typical 6 for $1 since they were about to close. Woo hoo!

They still tasted amazingly fresh, and still good the next day!

  • *****

Delicious fresh donuts! Even with all the variety they offer their buttermilk is definitely their best. Soo moist (I hate saying that word but it's the best way to describe it) and flavorful. My kids love their donut holes as well.

  • *****

Hands down the best place if your needing a donut fix. But I ask that you do not try the Raspberry fritters.... Never! I hate it when I stop in for one and they are out.

  • *****

Donut Day is terrific. When you visit, the buttermilk bar is a "must purchase"! It is what they are famous for. Their rotating specialty donuts are remarkable for their flavor and quality, as well.

  • *****

This is our absolute favorite donut spot! They offer decent coffee too.
Prices are fair, and staff is nice.

  • *****

Donut Day is GOOD. Really, really good. And I've never actually visited the store! It's on my co-worker's drive to work, and she'll bring a box of donuts in at least once per week - those are the happy days.

What I love most is that their donuts aren't greasy or too heavy, and they even taste fantastic the next day (yes, I'll raid the box the next day if there are leftovers! I ain't got no shame!). A few weeks ago, I was determined to just say no to having any donuts. I had just clocked out for lunch, when I caught a glimpse of what I believed to be an apple fritter - om nom nom. I broke off a small piece - didn't want to ruin my lunch! - and took a bite. Holy mother of fried goods - it wasn't an apple fritter. It was a raspberry fritter! OH MY GOD! I ended up eating the whole thing. It was ahhh-mazing. Everything I've had from there is fab.

I've got to get my butt down to the actual location and take it all in for myself. In the meantime, I'll keep looking forward to the days that my favorite co-worker walks in with the magic donut box.

  • *****

These donuts are like crack!!!! They are made very well. I must have ate 6 in a row and wanted to finish off the other 6. Amazing cake donuts! They just melt in your mouth. Grab a glass of coffee or milk and sit down with a box. LOL

  • *****

An excellent Fathers Day stop at their new Tigard location. We got a toasted coconut cake style donut and a jelly filled donut. Both were excellent and exceeded expectations. We will be back for sure!!

  • *****

Best donuts around! Just as good the next day...and not sickening sweet like some other donut places. The cost is low also. I've never eaten in the dining room area, I've always just bought donuts and left. It doesn't seem set up for people to sit and visit, that would be my only complaint.

  • *****

Mom and pop operation serving fresh donuts and baked goods. The apple fritter caught my eye and it did not disappoint! The size was appropriate (nearly eclipsed my face), frosting perfect (not too much or too little, just right down to the last bite), and chunks of apple adequate to remind you that you're eating something healthy (a redeeming fritter).

  • *****

We have been frequenting Donut Day since 2002, or earlier. (Recall bringing their donuts to work and all the positive comments in 2002. So likely we "favorited" previously). The parents worked the shop then; their children do now. Steady quality, tasty, and friendly.

My favorite they created for me and call by my name so I don't have to describe each visit. The "Susan"...chocolate frosted, yellow custard filled...with an injection of raspberry. Shh...delicious. I tip generously because this takes extra ingredients and time to "custom" do.

These donuts are priced inexpensively yet are generous and constantly high quality.

A favorite is the double chocolate. Everyone I introduce here returns for this and they usually keep this flavor well stocked.

I like their scones as well.

Their fillings are generous (photo on Yelp is typical, not unusual).

They have tasty seasonal flavors, plenty of easy/free parking, fast service, no waiting line, lots of tables, and fast service.

Their fritters come in multiple flavors (apple, blueberry, cherry).

They cook their donuts to perfection (no overly crisp or greasy smelling/tasting product here).

Sorry Blue Star and VDo this is still hands down our favorite.

Relaxed atmosphere perfect for bringing grandchildren, friends, even a party...always lots of tables open. You can make this visit what you choose.

Fitting that the donuts are glazed as is their concrete flooring.

  • *****

Apple fritters! Jelly filled! And gasp, blueberry fritters!!! Heat for a sec, but really u don't have to do that even. Love is put in these donuts and in this little biz. You can tell the minute you step inside.

My daughter and I came on Saturday morning. Busy? Yes! Does that deter us? No! When we want a donut...we want a donut. Or in our case, 13 donuts. I don't know how she (daughter of mine) forces me to get away with these shenanigans. I guess it wasn't that hard...

I won't compare this donut shop with any others because its so not comparable. So boo to the others in the area (you know who they are). And we will be back to try out other delish donuts.

  • *****

Best donuts. Handsdown. The double chocolate cake donuts (not sure what they actually call them here, but you get what I mean) are so heavenly. The apple fritters, tiger bars, glazed donuts are all absolutely delicious.

What makes this place even better is the great service. Need 5 dozen donuts in 30 minutes? Sure! Regularly order from us and we'll make paying and ordering so easy you don't even really have to say much on the phone? Sure!

  • *****

Outstanding donuts. Friendly people. Get there early, for some of the best donuts sell out fast! Best crullers and apple fritters on the planet.

  • *****

This is the best place to pick up fresh donuts in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area..

  • *****

Way better than Voodoo or Sesame. I like the mom and pop feel, and their service is fantastic. The apple filling is ridiculously good.

  • *****

    Phenomenal.
Their fritters are crunchy on the outside like blue star and cake like in the center like a coco donut.
Very inexpensive for the quality. The best and, in my opinion, only place for donuts in the area.

  • *****

Fantastic donuts! Great selection! Extremely friendly and personal service. I will definitely be back. The Apple Fritters are wonderful. I prefer my buttermilk without glaze, but they said they could do that if I call ahead.

  • *****

The other "to die for" menu item is their french cruller! Airy and sugary and so melt in your mouth delicious!!!

  • *****

love this place. been going here for a few years now. every donut I've tried has been great but my absolute favorite is the bear claw. best I've ever had.

  • *****

Oh my goodness. This place had the best donuts! Lots to choose from which made it difficult to decide. I wasn't disappointed in the ones we left with. Sooo good!!

  • *****

I'd say this is one of the best (if not only) places to grab donuts in the area. Really, your other choices are limited to the nearby grocery stores and Krispy Kreme, but donuts from Donut Day can definitely hold their own regardless of the lack of competition!

My go-to is the apple fritter ($1.75), and they have it down to a tee. It's huge with tons of apple bits, and they don't overdo the glaze.

They have all the standard donut varieties, in addition to little flavor spins on those standards.

The place is tucked away in the back corner of a tiny strip mall off of TV Highway. Look for 'Every Day is a Donut Day'! If you're coming from Hillsboro, it's easier to turn left on 185th and access the store through the back road, you'll have a tough time making a left turn on the busy highway.

  • *****

With one bite of these donuts, it can make your day!

Donut Day is a mom-and-pop donut shop. Although I love sweets, donuts aren't on the top of my list; but I would enjoy one in a blue moon. I went to Donut Day since it was in the neighborhood and there were glowing reviews about the local establishment. I had to see what the other Yelpers were raving about!

    [decor]
Located in a mini strip mall off of the busy TV Hwy, the place is small and tiny. A mom and pop shop. Clean. Your typical donut shop joint. There are a few tables and chairs inside if you want to hang out and dine in while reading the paper and sipping a cup of coffee.

    [devour]
*APPLE FRITTER - was much better compared to the one I had at Joe's Donuts. It had the right amount of sweetness and wasn't uber sugary. The texture of the bread was very fluffy and is easily devourable. Milk may be needed afterwards for a sugar overload.

*BLUEBERRY - I have a soft spot for blueberry flavored items. After the blueberry donut craze in SoCal, this is probably the closest to the M&M's in Anaheim! Worth checking out!

    FYI =
    -Ample parking lot
    -Accepts CC's
    -Awesome service
    -Coffee and tea also available
-Other popular items: blueberry fritters, cake donuts and jelly filled
    -MADE FRESH DAILY

I agree with the other Yelpers - you'll definitely get an AWESOME donut here! For the donut lovers out there, this place is WORTH checking out!

Everything is delicious. Better than voodoo imho. The Boston creme is pretty awesome as well as the 3 types of fritters.

  • *****

When we were in Portland last weekend we wanted donuts but didn't want to have to drive 20 minutes and wait in line for Voodoo Donuts so we figured we'd give a local place a shot.

    Sooooooo happy we did!

They had a good variety of donuts! They didn't have any of the crazy combinations like Voodoo does, but that's okay. (Some of Voodoo's are just plain weird).

Their donuts were fresh, delicious, and fairly inexpensive.

My favorite part is that they didn't have a FLUFFY apple fritter - It was a thinner, crunchier kind, which happens to be just how I like them. :)

  • *****

Excellent donuts and a friendly staff. They have fritters there that I haven't seen in very many places like pineapple and banana. I will be trying them all for sure. Even the regular coffee is some of the best around. I'm not sure what they buy but it's very good. It must be good because they kept running out while I was there. No big deal though, I'll just have to go back for more coffee and some awesome donuts!

  • *****

A co-worker brought in an assortment of doughnuts today. I always have a hard time deciding between the raised chocolate or a maple bar---they have a 1/2 and 1/2 so I can have both and still only eat one doughnut. The frosting was excellent. I also tried a piece of a cream filled (for reviewing purposes only---of course) and it was delicious too.
They have just the right amount of fat/sugar a person craves in a doughnut!

  • *****

My family loves the donuts here! Great place to go for the most delicious treats. We love the apple fritters, buttermilk bars and French crullers.

  • *****

My girlfriends boss brought these donuts to work for his employees, and after listening to her tell me about how magical they were I had to see for myself. It was not an exaggeration. These donuts are just the perfect amount of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Wow, definitely my new go to spot since it's very close to home. Our apple fritter was still a little warm when I bit into it which made it even more incredible. And the service! The woman who helped us was so sweet she even gave us some donut hole samples! I recommend the old fashioned donut, any of the fritters, and the buttermilk donut holes.

  • *****

Seriously, I had no business walking in the door of this place. I live in the area, drive by a lot, and resisted....for years. Because I sure as hell don't need to be eating more fat and sugar. And then a sugar craving hit one fine morning and I stopped.

Oh. DAMN. What have I done.

The buttermilk donut is ridiculous. As are the apple fritters, the chocolate donut holes, the everything. Everything is SO good. It's just a little family spot that's friendly and comfortable. (The coffee's pretty good, but it's not called Coffee Day.) Oh and by the way, the other day I decided to stop for donut holes for the office. There were probably 10 or so chocolate donut holes left -- but rather than give them to me, the nice lady that I think is an owner said "oh just a minute," walked in the back, and gave me fresh ones that were still warm. A-maze-ing.

Donut Day serves up donuts that are perfect, soft inside but slightly crisp inside, with exactly the right amount of icing. I haven't tried anything frosted there because it almost seems like it's spoiling a good thing. Just enjoy your donut as it is. Honestly, this should be the spot downtown with a line around the block but it's fine with me that it's tucked away in the suburbs.

  • *****

Great donuts. I've been here a bunch of times. They've always been fresh and delicious. Bought a double chocolate, chocolate ring and chocolate bar for $3.75! Also very nice people. Stop in before the rush!

  • *****

I live in Alaska and this the best doughnut shop in North America. I would walk 100 miles in a complete whiteout blizzard to get some of that warm blueberry fritter. Owners are top notch. I used to come here every day.

  • *****

So...donuts are in a constant ramp of "Can we add bacon, can we put a burger in between two of them and sleep at night? Is Tropical Punch Kool-Aid a valid flavor? Cronuts?" "Yes," being the answer to these questions for some. Although, the kind folks at Donut Day are seemingly seldom troubled by such queries. They do, however, ask: "How can we make slightly larger to impressively-sized, freshly made quality fried pastries? Will we have accommodating service with a smile and full espresso? Could a family owned operation function well with low/higher volumes? Is the buttermilk and toasted coconut Goliath out of this world awesome?"
    Answer: "Totes Magoats, Brochacho!"
Question:"Which day would we achieve the answers to these and many other super rad donut related puzzles? Which day indeed?"

    Answer: "Everyday...is Donut Day."

  • *****

Fresh variety of donuts are baked daily with a great bakers.
The shop is a family owned business, who works very hard to provide excellent job.
Even their drink menu, is full of choices.
Very friendly knowledgeable donut shop owners, adds to the fact their donut is the freshest and the tastiest in the area.
My favorite is the french cruller, cinnamon twist and the buttermilk bar.

  • *****

Best doughnuts in town. Price is fine and the owner guy is awesome, friendly and happy to make sure you get what you are looking for.

  • *****

Love the donuts here. Consistent every time. This place does not disappoint. Friendly workers. Everything is fresh and great. We are snowed in and all I can think about is having donuts with my coffee! I love the fritters and donuts with coconut. Very creative and always a lot to choose from.

  • *****

I love this place! Great donuts and a solid cup of coffee. They have a variety of tasty fritters and premium selections. They offer mixed dozen-premium and regular- at a slightly higher rate as well as a price break on multiple dozens. The staff is pleasant and the facility is clean. I definitely recommend stopping in.

  • *****

love these donuts!!! wife makes me drive here (20 minutes)once a month when it's time for donuts.. or when i'm in the doghouse....i don't mind because the donuts are the best out of the 10 other options in the area!

  • *****

I prefer these donuts over Krispy Kreme and Voodoo. The donuts are always fresh and taste so good. I hate when I get donuts from somewhere else and the donuts taste old and stale. There prices are super inexpensive for the quality they put out. Occasionally they will throw in some donut holes for my son which he loves. They're normally good about staying stocked. Even when it looks like they're sold out of a particular donut they usually already have some cooking in the back. When ever I bring donuts to work I always get asked when I got them from!

  • *****

Okay, I said I'd give them 5 stars if they had "fancy" donuts.

Well, as it turns out, I got there too early last time and they just weren't out yet.

The buttermilk is the best buttermilk I've ever seen or heard of and they have a cherry variation that is also good, but almost a bit too sweet. Ill stick with the regular buttermilk.

The co-workers caught on that I stop in for donuts for their birthdays, and seeing as how my 10 coworkers have now had 12 birthdays in 6 months, I'd say that they like the donuts too.

The fancy fritters are frighteningly huge. I usually pass on them because I can't eat a sugar coated football by myself. The blueberry old-fashioned as taken the crown for my favorite donut of all donuts.

  • *****

I love this place and the Vanilla donut is oooooh soo good

  • *****

My family decided to give Donut Day another chance. We are glad we did. We went in around 9 on a Monday and they didn't have my favorite donut but I let the young man behind the counter how I seem to always miss out on it cause every time I tried they did not have it. He was very kind and asked his dad to make me one. WOW! What great customer service! We sat down and loved every donut! Especially the fresh donut holes they were melt in your mouth amazing. They deserve the FIVE stars!!!

  • *****

Delicious donuts and great selection even at 1PM! Great customer service as well. Clean, new looking location. Been going to Sesame Donuts in Aloha but this one beats them by far!

  • *****

I tried the caramel creme crunch, buttermilk bar, and blueberry fritter today. It was the best fritter I've ever had! It has a very strong, fresh blueberry taste. Also, I loved the texture of the buttermilk bar, it tasted almost like a biscuit. The caramel was topped with trusted coconut, which was a nice contrast to the creamy center.

  • *****

This is my favorite donut place in Portland! If you are looking for consistent, quality donuts, you can not find it anywhere else.

  • *****

Raspberry filled generously filled and very fresh. Blueberry fritter plenty of flavor, well cooked and not greasy as so many places. Staff very friendly. Would definitely come back.

  • *****

Always delicious donuts and pastries. One star off because I've had my espresso burnt on more than one occasion.

  • *****

I love this place. Donuts are always super fresh and tasty and they have a great selection. I've eaten a lot of donuts and these are some of the best. The owners are great people. Super friendly. Highly recommended.

  • *****

Best donuts on the west side! Don't waste time with Voodoo, Donut Day beats them hands down.

  • *****

Love this place and the owners. Beautiful dough and lots of creative options to choose from.

  • *****

They have the BEST donuts. Their fritters are perfection... crisp on the edges, bursting with flavor and sweetness. That almost crunchy edge is like crack! This speaks to their donut making which seems to carry on to all their other items where donuts are not under cooked or too soft and doughy.

Also the owner is friendly enough, but sometimes seems distracted. Doesn't mater... his donuts are the best. Go. Here. Now!

  • *****

We visit Portland once a year to visit family and always stop by Donut Day almost every morning we are there. Fantastic donuts. Always fresh, great variety, best filling, and if you go early enough they are still warm.

  • *****

This place has great donuts. They are always fresh and they have a huge variety. I've been here a few times and they are consistently good!

  • *****

I wanted to get some donuts on the way home from the doctor's office. Cause, you know, doctor's office. I was researching a place on Yelp that was near my home and it had mediocre reviews. One of the reviews said I should try here. Okay. Yelp commanded, so I did.

Wise choice. I got here around noon:30, there was no one there. It looked like they had had a busy morning because there wasn't a huge selection but they still had a variety. I ordered a half dozen, picked a boston creme, a double chocolate, a nut and chocoloate, and told the man behind the counter I had never been there before and to make some recommendations. He went in the back, got me some freshly made donuts to fill out the box and then threw in an extra one for free!

Got them home and they were very good. Not overly sweet. I had one of the random ones, an apple spice, donut this morning, a full 24 hours later, and it was still nice and soft and tasty. Only one of the donuts, powdered one, was stale.

I'd like to go back earlier in the morning to check out the better selection.

  • *****

I love these old fashion donuts! No gimmicks. no cereal on your donut...just simple! I recommend their glazed and french curlers. Definitely the curlers. You can't go wrong! I also had the cinnamon twist which was huge! Be careful backing out in the small parking lot!

  • *****

The apple fritter is huge and filled with lots of apples--was not burnt at all! Delicious donuts and they have a very large selection. My husband knows his maple bars and said it was very good! Will be coming back for sure! They have a pumpkin fritter I will try next time

  • *****

The donuts here a very good. Always soft on the inside but crisp on the outside. They have a awesome selection so there is something for everyone! The donuts are made there and you can tell they have a lot of passion for what they do.

  • *****

First things first, pay attention to this if you go here regularly! THEY MOVED! I accidently discovered this when I thought I found a new donut joint. But man I was NOT disappointed! These donuts are so soft and the frosting is like, whipped, and together it's heaven in my mouth! I cannot wait to go back!

  • *****

This is one of those golden places in Beaverton that proves that the food is better, cheaper, and more convenient than what you find in Portland. Hands down, don't go anywhere else, THE BEST DONUTS ARE AT DONUT DAY! Trust me, I know donuts, I consider myself a bit of a connaisseur. Been to all of the usual places, (Voodoo, Blue Star, Sesame) and some smaller shops too, but none can hold a candle to Donut Day. I am ruined, disappointed by any other donut.

In all of the splendor, don't forget about the front case! The fritters, cinnamon rolls, and twists are absolutely unreal in size. A bag of donut holes is needed for the drive home too. Sparkles are my fav, I guess I'm a kid for life. If you're there at the perfect time, a fresh chocolate ring is one of the great wonders of the world.

The people at Donut Day are so nice and you can really tell they have a passion for making beautiful delicious things for the community. It's an amazing small business that is worth supporting, it's the perfect office meeting bribery. They opened another lovely shop in Tigard and are such an asset to this side of town. I'm serious, the foods better out here.

This. Place. I'm not sure why my husband never introduced it to me before we were married...it's as if he was hiding the greatest secret of all time until there was a ring on my finger, alas, I'm happy to share with the world! Who knew that little Aloha, the middle child of Hillsboro and Beaverton would be the host to Donut Day?! A place of dreams.

Serious. Not sure why the hype for Blue Star and Voodoo donuts. Donut Day produces the most moist and delicious nuggets of graced stuff that make me forget bring on a diet.

My favs are the eggy French Crulers and the original donut holes! But go early or they run out!!

I ended up working nearby and frequenting here to get donuts for work. I've done this for a while and was kind of shocked to see my old review of Donut Day.

If you asked me today, I'd tell you that the donuts are delicious, and always fresh. That's why they're worth a few dollars more. I love it here, and it's run by good people.

I recommend Donut Day to anyone and everyone for a fresh, oh-so-soft, mouthwatering donut experience.

    Repeat after me: Cinnamon Twist

    Say it again: Cinnamon Twist

One more time, with feeling: Cinnamon Twist

It should be spelled Sinnamon Twist, honestly

I love Donut Day's donuts. They are the best, BEST donuts! They are soft and chewy and they melt in your mouth. They are sweet, but not overly sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you don't see the kind of donut you want, ask, they may just be able to make you what you want in the back!

My only complaint is I don't know if it is a good or a bad thing that they have moved closer to my house since they have moved closer I have gotten donuts 5 times in the last 2 months!
